But this data from Nova Scotia Public Health suggests that adding the throat does offer a significant increase in sensitivity: https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/nova-scotia/ns-combined-nose-throat-rapid-test-more-accurate-1.6322961. Given their great track record on rapid testing, I trust NS public health!
